रायपुर।छत्तीसगढ़ में स्कूलों के बाद अब स्वामी आत्मानंद इंग्लिश मीडियम आदर्श महाविद्यालय भी खोले जाएंगे। मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल ने प्रदेश के छात्रों के हित में छत्तीसगढ़ में चरणबद्ध रूप से स्वामी आत्मानंद इंग्लिश मीडियम आदर्श महाविद्यालय प्रारंभ करने का निर्णय लिया है। इस निर्णय से इंग्लिश मीडियम स्कूलों में पढ़ने वाले बच्चों को 12वीं के बाद उच्च शिक्षा के लिए अब बाहर नहीं जाना पड़ेगा। राज्य में ही अंग्रेजी माध्यम में गुणवत्तापूर्ण उच्च शिक्षा उपलब्ध होगी। प्रथम चरण में आगामी शैक्षणिक सत्र जून 2023 से राज्य के प्रमुख नगरों में कम से कम 10 इंग्लिश मीडियम कॉलेज खोले जाएंगे। इसी तरह आगामी तीन साल में राज्य के सभी जिला मुख्यालयों में इंग्लिश मीडियम कॉलेज खोले जाएंगे। मुख्यमंत्री श्री बघेल ने मुख्य सचिव को इस संबंध में 10 दिनों में कार्ययोजना प्रस्तुत करने के निर्देश दिए हैं।
गौरतलब है कि मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल की विशेष पहल पर राज्य शासन द्वारा समाज के कमजोर तबके और मध्यम वर्गीय परिवारों के बच्चों को अंग्रेजी माध्यम में गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षा प्रदान करने के लिए स्वामी आत्मानंद अंग्रेजी माध्यम स्कूल प्रारंभ किए गए हैं। विगत वर्ष 51 स्कूल प्रारंभ किए गए थे, इन स्कूलों की लोकप्रियता के कारण स्वामी आत्मानंद अंग्रेजी माध्यम स्कूल की संख्या वर्तमान में बढ़कर 247 हो गई है।अब स्वामी आत्मानंद इंग्लिश मीडियम आदर्श महाविद्यालय प्रारंभ होने से इन स्कूलों में पढ़ाई करने वाले बच्चों के साथ-साथ अंग्रेजी माध्यम के निजी स्कूलों के बच्चों को अंग्रेजी माध्यम में उच्च शिक्षा के लिए बाहर नही जाना पड़ेगा। मुख्यमंत्री ने इस योजना की सफलता को देखते हुए 15 अगस्त को राज्य में आगामी शिक्षा सत्र के पूर्व राज्य के 422 स्कूलों में स्वामी आत्मानंद उत्कृष्ट विद्यालय योजना लागू करने की घोषणा की है। इनमें से 252 स्कूल बस्तर एवं सरगुजा संभाग में होंगे। दंतेवाड़ा जिले के शत प्रतिशत शासकीय हाई स्कूूल एवं हायर सेकेण्डरी स्कूलों को स्वामी आत्मानंद उत्कृष्ट विद्यालय का स्वरूप दिया जाएगा। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा है कि छत्तीसगढ़ की शिक्षा क्रांति आने वाले समय में देश का सबसे अच्छा ’एजुकेशन माडल’ प्रस्तुत करेगी।
मुख्यमंत्री श्री बघेल ने स्वामी आत्मानंद इंग्लिश मीडियम आदर्श महाविद्यालय प्रारंभ करने के संबंध में मुख्य सचिव को जारी निर्देश में कहा है कि राज्य में अंग्रेजी माध्यम के अनेक निजी एवं शासकीय इंग्लिश मीडियम स्कूल संचालित किये जा रहे हैं। राज्य में इंग्लिश मीडियम के शासकीय महाविद्यालय न होने के कारण राज्य के विद्यार्थियों को 12 वीं कक्षा उत्तीर्ण करने के बाद उच्च शिक्षा हेतु महानगरों के महाविद्यालयों में प्रवेश लेना पड़ता है जिसमें बड़ी राशि व्यय होती है। राज्य के विद्यार्थियों को राज्य में ही अंग्रेजी माध्यम से महाविद्यालयीन शिक्षा देने हेतु स्वामी आत्मानंद इंग्लिश मीडियम स्कूलों की तरह ही गुणवत्तायुक्त महाविद्यालयीन शिक्षा हेतु स्वामी आत्मानंद इंग्लिश मीडियम आदर्श महाविद्यालय भी आरंभ किये जाएं। इन महाविद्यालयों की चरणबद्ध स्थापना की जाए। प्रथम चरण में आगामी शैक्षणिक सत्र जून 2023 से राज्य के प्रमुख नगरों में कम से कम 10 इंग्लिश मीडियम कॉलेज खोले जाएं। इसी तरह आगामी 03 वर्षों में राज्य के सभी जिला मुख्यालयों में इंग्लिश मीडियम कॉलेज खोले जाएं।

Raipur:- After schools in Chhattisgarh, now Swami Atmanand English Medium Adarsh Mahavidyalaya will also be opened. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has decided to start Swami Atmanand English Medium Adarsh Mahavidyalaya in Chhattisgarh in a phased manner in the interest of the students of the state. With this decision, children studying in English medium schools will no longer have to go out for higher education after 12th. Quality higher education in English medium will be available in the state itself. In the first phase, from the coming academic session June 2023, at least 10 English medium colleges will be opened in major cities of the state. Similarly, in the next three years, English medium colleges will be opened in all the district headquarters of the state. Chief Minister Shri Baghel has directed the Chief Secretary to submit an action plan in this regard in 10 days.
It is noteworthy that on the special initiative of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, the State Government has started Swami Atmanand English Medium School to provide quality education in English medium to the children of weaker sections and middle class families of the society. 51 schools were started last year, due to the popularity of these schools, the number of Swami Atmanand English Medium Schools has increased to 247 at present. Also, children of private schools in English medium will not have to go out for higher education in English medium. In view of the success of this scheme, the Chief Minister has announced to implement Swami Atmanand Utkrisht Vidyalaya Yojana in 422 schools of the state before the upcoming academic session on 15th August. Out of these, 252 schools will be in Bastar and Surguja divisions. 100 percent government high school and higher secondary schools of Dantewada district will be given the form of Swami Atmanand Utkrisht Vidyalaya. The Chief Minister has said that the education revolution of Chhattisgarh will present the best education model of the country in the coming times.
In the instructions issued to the Chief Secretary regarding starting Swami Atmanand English Medium Adarsh Mahavidyalaya, Chief Minister Shri Baghel has said that many private and government English medium schools are being run in the state. Due to lack of English medium government colleges in the state, students of the state have to take admission in metropolitan colleges for higher education after passing class 12th, in which a large amount is spent. Like Swami Atmanand English Medium Schools, Swami Atmanand English Medium Model Colleges should also be started for quality college education to the students of the state through English medium in the state itself. These colleges should be established in a phased manner. In the first phase, at least 10 English medium colleges should be opened in major cities of the state from the coming academic session June 2023. Similarly, English medium colleges should be opened in all the district headquarters of the state in the next three years.
