जस्टिस उदय उमेश ललित होंगे देश के अगले CJI – राष्ट्रपति का आदेश
नई दिल्ली।न्यायमूर्ति उदय उमेश ललित को भारत के 49वें मुख्य न्यायाधीश के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया। जस्टिस यूयू ललित वकील से सीधे सुप्रीम कोर्ट में जज और उसके बाद मुख्य न्यायाधीश बनने वाले दूसरे जज हैं। इससे पूर्व जस्टिस एसएम सीकरी देश के 13वें मुख्य न्यायाधीश बने थे।
उन्हें भी बार से सीधे सुप्रीम कोर्ट में जज बनाया गया था। जस्टिस सीकरी का कार्यकाल 1971 से अप्रैल 1973 तक था। महाराष्ट्र से आने वाले जस्टिस ललित अगस्त 2014 में वकील से सीधे सुप्रीम कोर्ट के न्यायाधीश बनाए गए थे। उनके पिता मुंबई हाईकोर्ट में जज रह चुके हैं। वह तीन तलाक को खत्म करने वाली बेंच के सदस्य रहे हैं। जनवरी 2019 में अयोध्या में रामजन्म भूमि विवाद का फैसला करने वाली संविधान पीठ से जस्टिस ललित स्वयं हट गए थे।
उन्होंने कहा था कि वह इस मामले में 1997 में यूपी के पूर्व सीएम कल्याण सिंह के वकील रह चुके हैं, इसलिए वह इस बेंच का हिस्सा नहीं बनेंगे। जस्टिस ललित इस समय करोड़ों कर्मचारियों के लिए महत्वपूर्ण मामले, वेतन से पीएफ/पेंशन फंड काटने की सीमा बढ़ाने के खिलाफ ईपीएफओ की याचिकाओं पर सुनवाई कर रहे हैं। इससे पूर्व जस्टिस ललित ने पिछले दिनों अप्रैल में एक फैसला दिया था, जिसमें उन्होंने चार वर्ष की बच्ची का रेप कर हत्या करने वाले फिरोज (35) की मौत की सजा माफ कर यह कहते हुए 20 साल की सजा सुनाई थी कि हर संत का इतिहास होता है और हर अपराधी का भविष्य होता है। बाद में महिला संगठनों ने इस फैसले के खिलाफ समीक्षा याचिका दायर की, लेकिन उन्होंने उसे भी खारिज कर दिया था।

Justice Uday Umesh Lalit will be the next CJI of the country, – the President’s order
New Delhi:- Justice Uday Umesh Lalit was appointed as the 49th Chief Justice of India. Justice UU Lalit is the second judge in the Supreme Court directly from a lawyer and after that to become the Chief Justice. Earlier, Justice SM Sikri had become the 13th Chief Justice of the country.
He was also made a judge in the Supreme Court directly from the bar. Justice Sikri’s tenure was from 1971 to April 1973. Justice Lalit, who hails from Maharashtra, was made a Supreme Court judge directly from lawyer in August 2014. His father has been a judge in the Mumbai High Court. He has been a member of the bench that abolished triple talaq. In January 2019, Justice Lalit himself withdrew from the constitution bench that decided the Ramjanmabhoomi dispute in Ayodhya.
He had said that he had been the lawyer of former UP CM Kalyan Singh in this case in 1997, so he would not be a part of this bench. Justice Lalit is currently hearing the petitions of EPFO against increasing the limit of deduction of PF / pension fund from salary, important matters for crores of employees. Earlier, Justice Lalit had given a verdict in April, in which he waived the death sentence of Firoz (35) who had raped and murdered a four-year-old girl and sentenced him to 20 years, saying that the history of every saint. And every criminal has a future. Later women’s organizations filed a review petition against this decision, but they too rejected it.
